New Madrid County SWCD Drop Pipe Program

How Many Tons of Top Soil are YOU Loosing?
(Length x Width x Depth x 90) divided by 2000 = Tons/Acre
Example: (75ft x 2.5ft. x .5 x 90)/2000 = 4.2 Tons/Acre

     New Madrid County Currently offers DWP –1 Sediment Retention, Erosion Or Water Control Structures or better known as the Drop Pipe Program.  This program is a state funded incentive program designed for the purpose of saving soil through erosion abatement and sediment control.  The cost share program is intended to provide financial incentives to landowner to install practices that prevent or control excessive erosion. These programs and services are provided to you as a part of the one-tenth-of-one-cent Parks and Soils Sale Tax.
