| The Mississippi County Soil and Water Conservation District completed its 43rd full year of operation in 2006. The Board members along with assistance from the USDA, Natural Resource Conservation Service worked closely with landowners in irrigation studies and with the district personnel in applying conservation practices. The District Board and personnel work closely in the planning and applying of conservation practices under such USDA programs like EQIP, WRP, CRP, CSP and the Loan Interest Share and the State Cost Share Programs. |
